Ariana Richards

Ariana Clarice Richards is an American painter and actress from the past. Most well-known is her playing Lex Murphy in Jurassic Park which was a blockbuster. Richards was the recipient of the Young Artist Award in her role as a child actress and has since shifted her focus to her professional career as an artist. Ariana's Italian roots through her maternal grandparents traces back back to Carlo Crivelli, a famous Renaissance painter. Additionally, she is an immediate descendant of boxer John L. Sullivan. The Sullivan family was awarded winner of the National Professional Oil Painting Competition winner in October of 2005. The competition was which was organized by American Artist Magazine. Ariana made her first self-portrait, a watercolor drawing. It was of her holding a spoon full of jello as a prey snuck up behind her. In April 2012, she started a YouTube channel titled GalleryAriana, where she posted images of herself. In addition to Jurassic Park, she's appeared in several other noteworthy films including Tremors (1990), Spaced Invaders (90) and Locked Up: A Mother's Rage(1992) and Switched At Birth(1991). Ariana is the owner of a horse called Kindred Spirit.
